F16 Throttle Arm
Jan. 15, 2017. Corrected some minor dimension of the FrictionTearPlate.sldprt file, according to the diagram posted by Sandman, at http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php/topic,9739.msg157384.html#msg157384.
Nov. 16, 2016. Added FrictionTearPlate.sldprt file. This is the tear drop shape friction plate (not rendered above). It’s based on the dimensions read from http://www.checksix-forums.com/download/file.php?id=36199, posted by Dimebug. I simply imported the STL file and read the dimensions, cross referenced the dimension with the ones I have and bump the dimensions to the closest imperial dimension. For instance, the large diameter of one side of the tear drop was vaguely measured as 76.5mm. But my friction plate is precisely 3”. So, it’s a good guess that it should have been 3”.
The teardrop-shaped friction plate is not rendered in the above pretty rendering, but it’s in the final assembly. Please update your files and you will see where this plate should be.
